The Republic of Ireland Amateur team is selected from Junior and Intermediate Clubs competing in the various Leagues across the country. For the 2017 competition the regional squad is selected from clubs in Connacht and Munster.


UEFA Regions Cup 2017

The Finals of the 2017 UEFA Regions Cup, of which Ireland are the holders having won the 2015 Tournament, will be hosted by Turkey and will commence on Saturday 1 July 2017 with the final scheduled for Sunday 9 July 2017.

UEFA Regions Cup 2017

The UEFA Regions Cup takes place bi-annually and Ireland were drawn in a challenging Group 7 in the qualifying process for the 2017 finals. Ireland faced FYR Macedonia, Slovenia and hosts Italy, with the qualifying games taking place at the end of September 2016.
