U15s defeat Cyprus in second double header contest

Head Coach Jason Donohue gave match time to those squad members who missed out on Tuesday evening, when our U15 international side took on Cyprus in the AUL Complex early this Thursday afternoon. Goals in the final four minutes from Louie Barry and Calum Kavanagh, son of former senior international Graham Kavanagh, secured another merited victory.

U15s defeat Cyprus in first double header contest

Rep. of Ireland U15 side, with Head Coach Jason Donohue at the helm, secured a two nil victory over Cyprus in the first of two friendly contests, played this Tuesday evening in Oriel Park. Second half goals from Anselmo Garcia McNulty of Real Betis and Oran Crowe of Cork City proved decisive on the night. The second encounter is set for the AUL Complex on Thursday afternoon at 1pm.

Ireland U16: Hungary prove too strong…

Our Under 16 international side went down to an emphatic four nil defeat by hosts Hungary in Budapest on Thursday morning. This disappointing result follows their three two defeat at the same venue on Tuesday afternoon.

U16s face Hungary in Budapest double header…

Head Coach Paul Osam has selected an eighteen player squad for a brace of Under 16 friendly internationals against Hungary in Budapest this week. The sides met in Teliki early on Tuesday afternoon where the hosts prevailed by three goals to two with Matt Everitt and Brandon Holt finding the net for Ireland. The sides meet again at 10am (Irish time) on Thursday morning.
