2010 Charity Quiz supporting WONS Orphanage, Zambia
The 2010 Charity Quiz Night took place on Friday 22nd of January 2010 and proved to be a resounding success. It was the 5th year of the event. The team of Frank Glynn, Dave King and Cathal Chu emerged as winners after a play-off.
A number of items were auctioned which with entry fees, raffle proceeds from the night and the 25th anniversary dinner and donations made by members who could not attend resulted in a sum of about £2000 being raised for the nominated charity for this season is the WONS Orphanage near Chunga in Zambia.
The committee would like to thank all those who supported this event. Thanks to Quizmaster Michael Mulvaney and his assistants.
