The draw for the qualifying stage of the 2021/23 European U21 Championship took place at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon this morning and sees Ireland drawn in Group F. The Championship Finals will be hosted by Georgia and Romania and are scheduled for June/July 2023.

Waterford, our representatives in the UEFA Youth League, have been drawn away to Hammarby FC of Sweden with the single leg knock-out tie set for Stockholm on the 2nd March 2021.
Dean Kiely has been appointed as our new senior goalkeeping coach to replace the departed Alan Kelly. Capped 11 times at senior level, Kiely is currently goalkeeping coach at Crystal Palace, a position he will retain.
