The third series of Airtricity League Premier Division fixtures took place on Monday evening. Defending champions Shamrock Rovers defeated Drogheda United by three goals to one in Tallaght Stadium while Bohemian scored the only goal to defeat St Patrick’s Athletic in Dalymount Park. Derry City played out a scoreless draw with Sligo Rovers in the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium while Dundalk defeated visitors Finn Harps by three goals to nil in Oriel Park. The remaining contest saw promoted sides UCD and Shelbourne play out a scoreless draw in The Bowl.
