The four clubs set to represent Ireland in European competition this summer were in Airtricity League Premier Division action this Monday evening. Shamrock Rovers leapfrogged Derry City at the summit with a three one victory over Sligo Rovers in Tallaght Stadium while Derry City were held to a scoreless draw by St Patrick’s Athletic in the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium. Star of the Show in Tallaght was half-time substitute Graham Burke who scored all three second half goals for the ‘Hoops’.
