There was also Premier League disappointment for Declan Rice and his West Ham United colleagues as they suffered a four one defeat by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium where Josh Cullen was an unused substitute. The Burnley duo of Stephen Ward and Kevin Long started with Jeff Hendrick a late substitute and lohg time injury absentee Jon Walters unused on the substitute bench as they played out a one all draw at Stoke City which, barring a huge collapse, should guarantree them European football next season.
