Head Coach Colin Bell was disappointed by the performance of his Ireland Senior Women’s side in their one nil defeat by hosts Portugal in the Azores on Thursday evening. The winning goal came from the penalty spot on sixty minutes. The sides will meet again on Monday afternoon.

Following their opening defeat by hosts Portugal our U19 Women next meet England at the Santo Antonio venue on Friday afternoon at 5pm. A further contest, against hosts Portugal, is also scheduled for Santo Antonio at 2pm Irish time on Sunday afternoon.
