Our U16 side, guided by Head Coach Paul Osam, played out an exciting three all draw with hosts England in their second contest of the Triangular Invitation Tournament this Thursday afternoon in the English NTC in St George’s Park. Tom Lonergan put Ireland in front but the hosts scored twice before the break to lead at half-time. The second period saw Jamie Mullins equalise before Ireland goalkeeper Aaron Maguire conceded and then made a double save from penalty. The hosts regained the lead shortly afterwards but Ireland were not to be denied and Ben Quinn equalised for an excellent draw.
