UEFA Women’s European Championship draw…21/02/2019

The draw for the qualifying stage of the 2021 Women’s European Championship took place at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon this Thursday afternoon and sees the Republic of Ireland drawn in Group I alongside Germany, Ukraine, Greece, and Montenegro.
The first qualifying match is scheduled for Tuesday the 3rd September 2019 with Montenegro providing the opposition in Tallaght Stadium. Second seeds Ukraine will be the visitors to Tallaght for the second match on Tuesday the 8th October 2019 with a trip to Greece on Tuesday the 12th November 2019 completing the fixture schedule for this calendar year.
There are nine qualifying groups with the group winners and the three best runners-up qualifying automatically to join hosts England for the July 2021 Finals. The remaining six second place teams will contest a two leg play-off to determine the three remaining finalists.
