Fulham, for whom recent transfer window signing Cyrus Christie has yet to make his debut, welcomed the Aston Villa trio of Conor Hourihane, Scott Hogan and Glenn Whelan to Craven Cottage in the Championship on Saturday afternoon and duly defeated them by two goals to nil. Preston North End were without the suspended Greg Cunningham for the visit of current leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers and Matt Doherty but Alan Browne scored the goal which earned them a point in aone all draw.
