The fifth round of the FA Cup continued on Saturday afternoon with Shane Duffy rested as Brighton & Hove Albion defeated League Two side Coventry City by three goals to one at the Amex Stadium. The clash of Premier Leagues sides West Bromwich Albion and Southampton at the Hawthorns saw James McClean start for the hosts but Shane Long failed a late fitness test and was ruled out, but his club secured a two one away victory.
