Third place Leeds United included rumoured Ireland target Patrick Bamford in their starting eleven for the Championship visit of struggling Bolton Wanderers this Saturday afternoon and he converted a sixteenth minute penalty in their two one victory. Keiren Westwood and Sheffield Wednesday defeated visitors Swansea City by three goals to one at Hillsborough. With Ireland Assistant Manager Terry Connor in attendance, James McClean and Stoke City played out a one all draw with misfiring Aston Villa who included Conor Hourihane and Glenn Whelan in their starting eleven. The 5.30pm kick-off featured fourth place West Bromwich Albion in opposition to second place Sheffield United for whom, John Egan, Enda Stevens and David McGoldrick started while Aston Villa loanee Scott Hogan was unused on the substitute bench as they secured a one nil victory. There was disappointment for Egan who was withdrawn through injury at half-time.
