The third qualifying round of the 2021 Europa League took place this Thursday evening with all six survivors from these Western Islands in action away from home.
Dundalk made the lengthy journey to face Sheriff in Moldova and recovered from the concession of an 8th minute goal to draw level on the stroke of half-time through Sean Murray. Both Aberdeen and Motherwell exited the competition following defeats by Sporting CP in Portugal (1-0) and Hapoel Beer-Sheva in Israel (3-0).
