Reading defeated struggling Peterborough United by three goals to one . The visiting ‘Posh’ included loanee Conor Coventry in their starting eleven while Sam Szmodics and Jack Taylor were late substitutes. Sheffield United included John Egan in their starting eleven while loanee Conor Hourihane was a 78th minute substitute for their two all draw with visitors Preston North End for whom Alan Browne was an unused substitute.
