Matt Doherty, who picked a knee injury against Arsenal last Saturday and was substituted, started for Wolverhampton Wanderers in their Europa League meeting with Slovan Bratislava at Molineaux this Thursday evening. Doherty completed the full 90+ minutes and was in excellent form as his side secured a one nil victory with the goal coming in the final minutes of the match.
Also in Europa League action this Thursday evening were Glasgow Celtic who travelled to face Italian side Lazio and came from behind to secure a two one victory with the winning goal coming in the fifth minute of added time. Jonny Hayes has been used quite extensively from the substitute bench for the Scottish side this season but started in the left back position this evening and completed the full 90+ minutes.
