Our Senior Women provided a much improved performance against hosts Portugal in the Azores this afternoon to secure a three one success. Goals from captain Katie McCabe, Leanne Kiernan and Loise Quinn put Ireland in total command with the hosts scoring a late consolation goal.
U19 Women lose to England in Portugal tournament…21/01/2018
Following their opening defeat by hosts Portugal our U19 Women met England at the Santo Antonio venue on Friday afternoon. Despite a much improved performance, against stronger opposition, our side went down to a three one defeat with Saoirse Noonan scoring our goal. A further contest, against hosts Portugal, is also scheduled for Santo Antonio at 2pm Irish time on Sunday afternoon.
