Senior Women commence European qualifying campaign…03/09/2019

Our senior women, guided by acting Head Coach Tom O’Connor, commenced their 2021 European Championship qualifying campaign with a two nil victory over Montenegro in Tallaght Stadium this Tuesday evening.

Ireland opened  the scoring after 7 minutes through Tyler Toland and dominated proceedings throughout. The ability to convert goalscoring chances, however, remains an ongoing problem. Our second decisive goal came after 68 minutes through captain Katie McCabe from the penalty spot following a handball incident.
