A hamstring injury has forced the withdrawal of Southampton striker Shane Long from the Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming EURO 2020 qualifying contests with Denmark and Gibraltar.
He is now the fourth withdrawal from the original squad following the earlier departures of Alan Browne, Luca Connell and goalkeeper Mark Travers.
