Airtricity League champions Dundalk and Danske Bank Premiership champions Linfield contest the newly introduced two-legged Unite the Union Champions Cup.
The first leg took place in Windsor Park on Friday the 8th November and saw the hosts take a 9th minute lead through Shayne Lavery but Daniel Kelly equalised for the visiting ‘Lilywhites’ on 51 minutes. The match was shown live on Premier Sports TV.
The second leg will take place in Oriel Park at 7.05pm on Monday the 11th November, with RTE 2 providing live coverage.
The cup will be sponsored by Unite for three years with the winners receiving €50,000 and the runners-up €25,000.
